Size means more than S, M and L
A single letter needs clearly defined measurement points behind it.
A medium in one brand or style may not fit like a medium in another. A collection’s size chart needs more than letters and numbers. Without agreed measurement points, two people can struggle to compare the same garment consistently.
Show how to measure
Mark chest width, garment length, sleeve and shoulder on a drawing. Explain how the garment is positioned and how each measurement is recorded. Compare the sample using those exact points. Record differences in the same units to keep the review unambiguous.
Give each style its own size chart and version number. This helps prevent a correction intended for one garment from accidentally entering another garment’s instructions.
