A small label. A lasting impression.

The material, placement and stitching of a label contribute to how a garment feels.

A garment label meets its wearer at close range. The mark needs to remain legible at its actual size, sit comfortably and complement the design. Give it a place in the collection plan from the beginning.

Review the label on the garment

Print the artwork at actual size. Then place a woven or printed sample against the selected fabric and examine its edges, folds and stitching. Check a neckline label during a fitting as well. An on-screen logo can create a different impression from a small manufactured detail.

Record the approved dimensions, colour, position and attachment method together. Plan the brand label separately from labels carrying required product information. Reviewing both on the finished sample gives the next conversation a clear physical reference.
