Bring the sketch, measurements and material into one document.
A technical brief is more than a file sent to a manufacturer. It helps both sides picture the same garment. When photographs, dimensions and comments are scattered across messages, important decisions become difficult to find again.
One document and one current version
Include the style name, front and back sketches, fabric references, size chart, construction and packaging requirements. Mark questions that remain open. Date or version each update so everyone knows which file is current.
Keeping a clear, current document is more useful than creating a complicated one. Start the first conversation with the information you have and work through the missing points together.
