The first page of your next collection

You do not have to know every answer before discussing a new collection. Explaining what you want to achieve helps a partner ask the right questions. A one-page brief is a useful starting point.

What belongs in the brief?

Who is the clothing for, where will it be worn and what impression should it create? Add garment types, an outline of the range, target timing and available references. If fabric, colour or sizing remain undecided, say so clearly. Keep approved decisions separate from options being explored.
