The sample, drawing and comments should describe the same decision.
Production accuracy depends on more than equipment. If the drawing and sample at a workstation disagree, another question is needed before work can proceed. How approved information reaches that workstation is part of the process.
Show the detail that matters
Add a close-up alongside the overall photograph for a complex area. Identify where a seam starts, where it finishes and how it joins the next component. Name the sample version. A written record after a verbal agreement gives everyone the same reference.
A new comment may require more than replacing a photograph. Check whether related measurements, operations or review points have changed too. A short practical instruction earns its value by being easy to find and understand during the work.
